OH MY GOD!! I LOVE YOU, JOEY!!!

When Nat told me that the New Kids were going to make a come back, I thought I was going to cry. When she told me that they were going to be on the Today Show, my eyes welled up a little. When I saw them there on my TV, I did that jump-up-and-down-waving-my-arms-wildly-sobbing thing.

Okay, maybe not sobbing but it was like I was 12 years old again. I was so obsessed with these guys and all those feelings came flooding back. I can't even begin to explain it. I was trying to the other day to a girl that's quite a bit younger than I am and she replied, "Oh, I understand. I would be like that if Hanson ever came back." My jaw hit the ground with a thud. Did she really just compare MY New Kids to HANSON? FUCKING HANSON? I simply replied, sort of snootily, "No, it's not quite the same thing."

I'm not going sit here and clarify why this reunion means so much to me and get all "they represent a simpler time" or "they were my only friends growing up" or "I can drive now and can stalk them proper like", I'll just say, I'll be loving them forever!

Do they still sell Tiger Beat and Big Bopper? Because I'm totally going to wallpaper my room with their posters! You think I'm kidding?

PS How freakin' hot does Donnie look? Joey has always and will always be my boy but hellooo Mr. Wahlberg.
